TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
The Broker - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
